Bloodline Revaluation

It has recently been brought to the attention of the entire staff team by one of the team members that a re-evaluation of nearly all the custom bloodlines posted by member and staff member alike require a very indepth once over. It has been brought up that several clans lack true weaknesses to counter their abilities while others simple lack in detail.

The staff understands fully some people wish to keep the exact details of their clans secret as they develope them through rp. However, the manner in which the clans are set up now, anyone who joins the site can decide to make their character of a member of any clan they desire without asking permission from the creator.

There is also the problem of too many single person bloodlines being established. This in itself is a form of g-modding, creating a clan which will not sustain any more members than just the creator's character. This is what custom jutsu are for, the purpose of custom jutsu is to grant characters a sense of individuality which sets them apart from other ninja and other members of their clan.

As such, staff are currently evaluating every clan which has been accepted and are deciding upon if the clan requires more detail in order to meet the new criteria.

A limit shall be placed as to how many clans both members and staff are allowed to create and as to how many clans shall be accepted in a given months time. The numbers have not been established yet. However this is to prevent the site from being flooded with clans.

It is also being talked about that clans will be broken down into two categories. Public and Private.

Public clans are those which have a much higher number slot as to how many members it can have, and people do not have to ask permission nor endure any stipulations enforced by the creator of the clan to have their character be a member. Public clans are generally going to be the "average" level clans, meaning their unique jutsu or abilities are not high end when compaired to canon clans such as the Hyuuga or Uchiha for example.

Private clans are those which tend to have a very limited number of members and their techniques are very powerful. These clans usually have a larger amount of effort and detail put into them when they are created. As such the creator of the clan reserves the right to accept or reject any requestion by others to create a character which is a member of the clan.

Members must ask permission from the creator of the clan if they may join. If there are any spots open the person must complete any evaluation the creator has made. These evaluations can be something such as an rp example, answer questions as to why they want to be a member and how they plan on using it, ect. Seeing as these clans are custom the creator has the right to accept or reject evaluation if they do not feel an applicant meets their standards.

Do not take it personally, some people are very addiment about their works.

ALSO! When it comes to private clans the number of members allowed shall be determined by staff. The creator can list what limit they believe is right. However the stronger the clan the less members it will have. This is to prevent people from amassing armies and taking over nations. Should such an instance be allowed in the plot of the site then more spots will be added to clans for this to occur.
